Sklar's Heaney Needle Holder is a ratcheted, finger ring instrument used for light to medium weight suturing, most commonly in gynecological procedures such as vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, and dilation and curettage. The slightly curved shanks and tips provide the user a better view when suturing intravaginally, and the cross-serrations provide a secure hold on the needle. This needle holder may also be used as a cardiovascular approximation and closure instrument. This product is 8-1/4 inches long.
