Sklar's Meyhoefer Chalazion Curette is an ophthalmic instrument used for removing chalazion. A small cyst formed by inflammation of a gland in the margin of the eyelid, a chalazion is similar to a sty but often requires an incision and drainage to be properly treated. The round, sharp scooping tip of the Meyhoefer curette is available in multiple sizes to treat various size cysts. Following an incision, the curette is used to scoop out the cyst. This product is the #3 curette and has a round 2.5mm tip.
