The Story
Sklar's hand held Murphy retractor is used to hold back wounds to access the desired area - commonly n small bone and joint procedures. The Murphy is available with 2 to 6 prong tips and the prongs can be sharp or blunt, depending on the surgical site and tissue type being held. Like the Volkmann, It features a USA style handle which is a fenestrated tear drop. The Murphy is distinguished by finger grips for ease of maneuverability.
