Sklar's Pomeroy Ear Syringe Shield is a concave shield used between the canister and the tip to deflect any solution as it flushes out of the ear. The shield is connected to the canister either by a screw on tip or with a Luer Lock, which also provides a seal and prevents fluid from leaking. This product is a shield for use with non Luer Lock connecting tips.
