Sklar Macintosh Laryngoscope Blades are used for direct, rigid laryngoscopy procedures to view vocal cords, remove foreign objects from the throat, biopsy, or tracheal intubation. This product is a size 0, Infant, Standard English Style Macintosh blade. It has a working length of 58mm and an overall length of 80mm. In general, Macintosh laryngoscope blades are curved. English Style Macintosh blades are longer than American Style Macintosh blades and feature a more continuous curvature. The English style blade tends to reveal a better view for the user, and is the preferred style to use if laryngoscopy is anticipated to be difficult. This blade is not fiber-optic.
