This product is a size 5, Adult, Standard English Style Macintosh blade. It has a working length of 153mm and an overall length of 175mm. In general, Macintosh laryngoscope blades are curved. English Style Macintosh blades are longer than American Style Macintosh blades and feature a more continuous curvature. The English style blade tends to reveal a better view for the user, and is the preferred style to use if laryngoscopy is anticipated to be difficult. This blade is not fiber-optic.
